Stanley Thompson Society

Client:

The Stanley Thompson Society was founded in 1998 to preserve the character of Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson’s work.

Design:

The website presents the life and legacy of Stanley Thompson in a visually appealing way. It also offers a text-rich website with a broad range of information about Thompson’s golf courses and the principles of his course design.

Technology:

The site is primarily text-based with a few photos sprinkled throughout. A Village Gallery is used to visually showcase some of the spectacular golf courses Thompson’s has designed including Banff, Capilano, Cataraqui, Dundas Valley, St. George’s, Highlands Links, Jasper, Thornhill and Whirlpool.
