Client:

The Bracelet of Hope campaign sells bracelets across Canada to raise funds to support OHAfrica’s Tšepong Clinic in the southern African country of Lesotho. The Bracelet of Hope Campaign has a goal of seeing a red and white bracelet on the wrist of every Canadian, and raising $150 million for HIV/AIDS relief in Lesotho, Africa.

Theme:

The Bracelet of Hope wanted a site that could easily be updated with current events and news. Content was organized to provide overviews of the key aspects of the campaign, while always leading visitors to make a donation or sign up for their eNewsletter.

Subsequently, they wanted to upgrade the website, so that they could both take donations and sell bracelets and more online.

Implementation:

Northern Village worked with Kabisa Communications, who provided the strategy and the content for the website. Northern Village has developed a way for Bracelet of Hope to take donations online within the branding of their website (no longer having to go to a third party website for donations). Also, they felt they could sell bracelets and other merchandise produced by the Inina Cooperative online. Northern Village provided them with an online shop so they could do this.

An easy signup for a newsletter is provided, as well as a link to buy bracelets and donate online.
