Guelph Technology Economy

Client:

Guelph Technology Economy is an initiative of Guelph based technology companies that want to connect with the local business community. A conference to bring companies together is planned for Tuesday January 19, 2010. The event is being organized by the Guelph Chamber of Commerce.

Theme:

The website presents the Guelph technology companies under the banner of "Fast, Agile, Independent Business Solutions". Also, the initiative wants to bring together the substantial number of tech companies in Guelph in a forum to share experiences and expertise. The initiative also seeks to highlight the fact that technology is the 3rd largest economic sector in Guelph, and its long-term goal is to facilitate and accelerate this sector’s growth in the community.

Implementation:

The Guelph Technology Economy website is a basic brochure website, and has a link to the Guelph Chamber event registration system. It was done in such a way as to be able to carry the initiative on after the conference.

Northern Village worked with Sociable Communications for the branding and positioning of the site and with MacMillan Marketing for the design. The website uses Village CMS for easy updating of the content.
