Client:
Getaway House Productions aims to create theatrical experiences that are powerful, daring, beautiful, & worthwhile... for anyone(if not necessarily for everyone). It is mounting Shakespeare’s "The Tempest” for performance in Fall of 2009 in Toronto.
Theme:
The website is a basic overview of the company and has a special design for The Tempest, which has a historical feel using glyphs in the corners to give a flavour of the period in which the play is set. The site was initially created to attract performers for the volunteer effort, and has evolved into a resource for the performers themselves, and as a marketing vehicle for the play itself.
Implementation:
Northern Village worked with Radiance Publications, who created the design for the website, as well as the content. The site contains a password protected area for the performers in which they can receive the latest information they need. All this is easily updated using only a web browser.
