Career Destination MANITOBA for Youth

Learning Agents worked with the Government of Manitoba to create the Career Destination: MANITOBA for Youth website. The site offers online career guidance to skilled newcomers, particularly those having to requalify in order to find employment in their regulated fields.

Theme:

Career Destination: MANITOBA is a collaborative storytelling engine, enabling contributors to tell the stories of successful Manitoban workers with interactive multimedia captured from the workplace. This content service will be linked to industry and educational websites throughout the community, ensuring the widest possible audience.

Implementation:

This site highlights the capabilities of using Village CMS, a CMS for static websites. Content editors worked from Winnipeg, Toronto and Guelph to complete this 5000+ page site! Using "facets” profiles, the site can be navigated by Occupational Group, Country of Origin, Occupation and City/Town of Residence, without the need of a database or an interactive CMS.
