Guelph Community Boating Club

The client

Located a few minutes north/east of Guelph at the east corner of Guelph Lake, the Guelph Community Boating Club is primarily a day sailing club operated by volunteers at Guelph Lake. Members are able to enjoy dingy-sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and rowing as well as taking part in lessons and organized boat races.

Client goals

As their boating schedules are constantly changing, it was important for Guelph Boating to have a self-maintainable website. Being able to put up new course offerings, frequently changing calendars and recent photographs with ease was a must.

Implementation

Northern Village moved the website over to the easily updateable software, Village CMS. The website was designed for easy, straightforward navigation without sacrificing artistic objective. A google calendar was integrated for easy scheduling and maintenance, graphs and charts were incorporated to showcase previous races and a current weather device was implemented for up to the minute climate conditions.
