The client

David Caesar believes that it is a symptomatic trend in the contemporary art world that a large number of artists are illustrating the connection between humankind and Nature in one way or another. As this connection becomes less evident, it is tempting to regard this as a kind of separation anxiety.

Client goals

David is interested in presenting in his paintings the mysterious in the everyday -- the juxtapositions and strange relationships between the realms of pattern and chaos.

Implementation

The website presents the paintings with limited text to let the paintings speak for themselves. They are presented in a relatively large format to clearly show the attention to detail. Website design is by Heather Finlayson of Mere Name Design, and implementation by Khetha Web Design. David Ceasar easily update his website on Guelph Artists.
